This year's conference site was the Marriott City Center, a 4-star full service hotel in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City.
Our theme is Utah – Integrity and all that Jazz. Jazz is our state's exciting pro basketball team but it also refers to discussion. At this conference we hope to stir excitement in finding ways to better protect the unemployment insurance program.

ALMIS Resource Center 2nd Biennel Seminar
"Making Connections! ALMIS Database Seminar 2005" will be in San Diego, California, August 15 -17, 2005. This will be the only technical training and networking opportunity offered in 2005 especially for ALMIS Database Administrators and individuals who work with the ALMIS Database. This year, the seminar is focused on bringing together representatives from local, state and Federal agencies in order to share the latest in workforce information delivery as well as discover more about the comprehensive set of products and services supported by the ALMIS Resource Center. The seminar will provide an opportunity to participate in a forum highlighting new developments in data content, delivery, and the ALMIS Database. Both an introductory and advanced approach to learning about the latest technologies and tools available to effectively and efficiently serve workforce information customers through the use of the ALMIS Database will be available. This seminar is for ALMIS Database Administrators, workforce development/workforce information professionals, and labor market information administrators/directors who would like to learn more about maximizing the potential of the ALMIS Database.
