This position is located in the U.S. Department of Labor(DOL), Employment and Training Administration(ETA), Office of Foreign Labor Certification(OFLC). The Office provides national leadership and policy guidance to carry out the responsibilities of the Secretary of Labor under the Immigration and Nationality Act, as amended, concerning foreign nationals seeking admission to the United States in order to work either temporarily or permanently, to fill jobs essential to the U.S. economy when there are not sufficient American workers who are able, willing, qualified, and available to perform the job. Specifically, the office reviews requests from sponsoring employers for the Secretary's certification that the hiring of one or more foreign workers would satisfy certain statutory requirements relating to conditions of employment.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
U.S. Citizenship.
Subject to financial disclosure requirements.
Requires a probationary period if the requirement has not been met.
